What to Bring & Crowd Sourcing Firewood

We will be crowd sourcing firewood for this event. Just bring a bundle of firewood for you or a few bundles if you’re coming with friends. This will help us share the cost of event.

We will not be providing chairs, food or drinks for this event. Please bring anything you need to be comfortable around the fire.

Alcohol

The possession and consumption of non-intoxicating and intoxicating malt liquor (containing not more than 5.5% alcohol by weight) is allowed from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and only within the designated areas of Como Park. No glass beverage containers are allowed.

Please respect the park rules and regulations regarding this.

Who is this meetup for?

OutClimb is a climbing club that centers around creating a welcoming space for queer, non-binary, and trans people of all backgrounds and skill levels. Climbing is historically white, cisgender, heterosexual, and male dominated; OutClimb looks to change that by providing a queer organized and led space where folks can hangout, climb, and learn with each other.

It would be fantastic for folks to come out, and be queer! Anyone and everyone is welcome, bring your friends!

Why a Bonfire

Usually OutClimb meets at Bouldering Project on the first and third Thursday of every month. Because of a competition at the gym and the related closures, we will not be meeting on 11/07/2024. So we are having this bonfire instead
